Workaround for incompatibilities and important information are green for the same reason.

Important announcements will always be placed above this paragraph in red, they have nothing to do with sections though. Sections are colored red so you can spot them quickly, section related text will also be red. Please refer to the "Things You Need to Know" section for the gamepad script fix which allows you to mutilate with gamepads. You should know that I am no longer using the regular version and thus have stopped my research into its problems, I've moved on to the fixed scripts version, however I will still update the information for the original mod version with any fixes/incompatibilities you find. Please check the very bottom of this post if you're looking for quick updates, that's where the most recent changed and update notifications will be, written in the same color as this. I am no longer offering full support of this thread, that said someone reuploaded the gamepad scripts, please scroll down to the downloads to snag it if you still need it. (In other words kindly use the forum to reply rather than the mod page OR reply directly to this post, you don't need a separate post for me to find you don't worry.) Again thanks for passing on the important message that steam needs to be up and running before running SKSE.NOTE-Please put all questions below this post! Some of the deleted ones I was able to figure out later and found them on Nexus. Arggg, It messed up my present game and there was no way to figure out just which mods were deleted and some of those that were no longer subscribed were no longer on the Workshop.

i started Skyrim from within NMM and selecting SKSE, but since I didn't notice that I was no longer logged in to Steam it loaded the data files and messed up my mods with updates and deselecting serveral mods and deleting others. Start steam first because recently Steam had an update and for some unknown reason to me it didn't log me back in afterwards. As I have said before when lots was having trouble when mods were limited to 50 awhile back I had no problems with my game. I would like to personally thank you for always reminding people to start Steam before launching Skyrim. Otherwise Steam will use the default launcer instead. Make sure that Steam is already open, before starting the game trough SKSE.

Install it and always run your game trough SKSE launcher for now on. Originally posted by MrSliceTheNinja:And what to do with SKSE?
